Each year IAHC sponsors a legislative day at the Iowa State Capitol for IAHC members to meet with legislators regarding the need to support home health and related services to citizens across Iowa. It's an important way for members to connect one-on-one with senators and representatives. Creating those relationships-and telling legislators about the challenges faced every day in maintaining services is the key to getting their attention when the appropriations process begins.
