Recorded Education Sessions Available for Purchase

IAHC has recently turned to the webinar format for many educational events. Webinars are a wonderful and cost-effective and convenient tool. One of the many great features of a webinar is that it allows IAHC to record most events offered.

Why Purchase Recordings?

  • You were unable to attend the live event.  You will receive the same information (without the live Q&A) and handouts as well as the live event.
  • Recordings of webinars are convenient.  You can listen whenever you have time.
  • Don't worry about falling behind and missing information because of interruptions.  You are able to start and stop whenever you need to.
  • Many other employees in your agency may have missed out due to conflicts with the live webinar time.  With recordings, everyone in your agency can listen when they have time.
  • You have unlimited access to the recordings, typically for 90 days after the session is recorded.  Share the recordings with new employees in the future.

CEUs

No CEUs will be awarded for recordings of education sessions.

How it Works

Once IAHC has received your registration and payment, all workshop materials will be available  electronically.  All recordings are available on the "Your Purchased Education" webpage after you complete and submit your order.

Payment

IAHC now accepts many major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB).  Credit card payments can be made online through the "REGISTER ONLINE" link for each workshop or by mailing in the "PRINTABLE ORDER FORM".  Completed registration forms can be mailed to 100 East Grand Avenue, Suite 118, West Des Moines, IA 50309.  Checks are to be made payable and sent to IAHC (Fed ID# 42-1279137).

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for recordings.

Recorded January 15 │ Webinar │ Register Now

Presented by Susan Carmichael with Select Data. ACA provisions that implement quality-of-care initiatives will dramatically impact hospital care and reimbursement. ACOs promote shared saving programs but require buy-in from participants. It is expected that the ACO programs could result in further consolidation throughout the healthcare industry. Home care agencies must adapt in their delivery of care or risk being excluded in the consolidation.

Care Transitions, Patient Centered Medical Models, ACOs and Home Care: A Practical Approach

Recorded February 14 │ Webinar │ Register Now

Presented by Susan Carmichael with Select Data. Patients are receiving disjointed care in this expensive system presently offered. Each level of care is segmented with loose, if any, relationship or follow up with the next level of care. CMS is seeking a more cohesive transitional form of care that is seamless and accountable. The PCMM is seen as an excellent example of that model. Home Care needs to assess how it fits into this new model Now.
